Shade is a graphic novel in two parts that might be well described as Star Wars meets 300. The story takes place on a desert planet that orbits a dying star. The denizens of this world are forced to fight amongst themselves constantly in order to survive.

Part One follows the journey of three seemingly different souls on this planet. Jocabo is an accomplished warrior, but circumstances cause him to hang up his sword. Mathos is an aging scholar with adventurous ambitions, and Djantu is his faithful pupil. These characters from different spheres will find themselves brought together for the voyage of a lifetime. Their journey brings new challenges, and what they discover is unlike anything they imagined.
