Born in March 1985 in Mundelein, Illinois, I have been an avid illustrator since I was at least four, composing drawings mostly of Noah's Ark and other animals. In my adolescent and young adult years, I have continued my passions of art and storytelling in many forms. After taking AP art courses in high school, I majored in Illustration at Washington University in St. Louis.

I was mostly inspired by movies growing up, with stacks of drawings accompanying the release of every summer film involving aliens, dragons, or dinosaurs. In 1997, after the release of the Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition I was inspired to create my first space saga: a story about a war of the worlds between Earth and a distant planet, which exists only in sketches, some of which are featured on my concept art page. In 1999, I was asked to describe an imaginary planet in my 9th grade science class, and my report detailed a planet that would eventually set the stage for this graphic novel: a desert planet with an odd rotation that caused a perpetual hot season in the north.

After graduating from college, I began cementing the story in a final form while holding a full-time job. My plans for the future include finding a publisher for the story and completing the next two parts. I also intend to continue my passion for illustration and concepting in additional ways.
