Born in 1985, I began drawing at the age of four, and I haven't stopped since. I grew up in the Chicago suburb of Mundelein, where I focused on my craft (maybe too much). After my home ran out of room to keep my sketches, I moved out to attend college at Washington University in St. Louis, where I am currently studying illustration at the Sam Fox College of Art.

In addition to illustration, I've taken several film studies and screenwriting classes, as well as other liberal arts courses. In the spring of 2005, I studied fine art abroad in Florence, Italy. Upon returning back to St. Louis, I started in the Visual Communications major (which encompasses illustration, graphic design, and advertising design).

In October 2006, my friend Shlomo Goltz and I became national finalists in the Chevy Super Bowl College Ad Challenge that gave students from five different schools the chance to have their idea turned into an ad for Chevy at Super Bowl XLI. Despite not winning, the competition gave us both considerate exposure and attention.

In October of 2008, I relocated to San Francisco to pursue my creative endeavors.
